     In the article "Racial Stratification and education in the United States: Why Inequality Persists". The article states about black and white inequality in education are more in racial stratification and not class stratification. However, many years before the Civil rights movement whites always looked at black people of not being smart or not knowing anything because they feel that they are not educated people or feel that they shouldn't be thought. Basically black people was been known not to do so good in school. In this article it states about the study that John U. Ogbu performed showing that academically white students reviced or get better grades then black students. However, Asian students fits in as getting higher grades then both races black and whites. Moreover, more studies shows that middle class childern do better in school. In my opinon middle class students do better because their parents might always be on top of them at all times, or they just have so much opportunity and resouces. In this article it states that it don't matter if you are poverty or may not,there blackpeople that are in poverty that have did better on specialized testes then those that are or were in middle class.
     In the movie "The Power Of Illusion" it showed how scientist created a experiment with one of his class based on there DNA. He wanted to show the students to see their DNA pattern to see if it would match to anyone who are from their same race. However, seeing this suprised me in a way because the results shows that you don't always have the same patterns as anybody else they are all the same race, no mattern if your Black, Asian or White we are all from the same race and have the same DNA patterns. Moreover, I find that race is just something that is created to control minority, those we dont have any power. In my opinon in today society black are sodiscriminated the most of all and some Hispanics Latinos that everything is hard for them when it come applying or getting jobs and sometime education too. I feel that they show things in this society to not make people feel like they can be succeed, plus race is just created for economic and politic purpose to put certain race down and not feeling succeed or motviated.
